The
New Cumberland Fire Department is an all volunteer fire department
serving the needs of
the New Cumberland, PA and surrounding communities. In addition to
providing fire protection,
we also provide an all volunteer ambulance service.
The New Cumberland Fire Department also provides assistance to West
Shore Bureau of Fire, and the
Camp Hill Fire Department, Lower Allen Fire Department, Fairview
Township Fire Department. This arrangement helps ensure that enough
manpower and apparatus are sent to fire call.
The New Cumberland Fire Department responds to about 275 fire
calls per year. About half
of those calls are outside the borough of New Cumberland. These fire
calls include everything from
auto accidents and fires, to medical assists.
Our ambulance responds to around 614 calls per year, including fire
calls.
